Community Gathering
The Parish Centre hosts Community Gatherings after the Rosary, with tea, coffee, and cake. Occasional Irish evenings include storytelling, ballads, and traditional music.
Parish Centre
We'll have coffee, tea, some biscuits, and a slice of cake. These are comforting treats that always help us feel more connected as a parish family.

Storytelling
Our Storytelling sessions will captivate audiences by sharing enchanting tales drawn from Ireland's rich oral tradition, vividly evoking the nation's storied history, mystical folklore, and cultural heritage, while fostering a sense of unity and bringing the community together through shared narratives.
Irish ballad singing
Irish ballad singing is a traditional form of storytelling through song, rooted in Ireland’s cultural heritage. It features lyrical, often narrative-driven songs that explore themes like love, loss, rebellion, and history, accompanied by simple melodies. Typically performed solo or in small groups, it emphasises emotional delivery and connection with the audience.

Live traditional Irish music
with instruments such as fiddle, flute, and bodhrán, will round out the evening in the spirit of a céilí.
